The Offinso Traditional Council Clears The Air: “Nana Dwoamena Akenten II is the only Offinso Manhene we have”

The Offinso Traditional Council has dispelled any rumors and deceptive images that have been circulating on social media regarding K. K. Sarpong’s installation as the Offinso Manhene.

The council has disputed what they view as a derogatory art film directed by the previous Queen Mother, which was produced by a group of non-royal people in an attempt to divert attention away from the advancement of Offinsoman.

At the traditional council meeting held on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the Offinsomanhene Palace, Okyeame Kwaku Wiafi, the spokesperson for Nana Dwoamena Akenten II, the Offinsomanhene, stated to the media that Nana Dwoamena Akenten II is the only Omanhene in the area recognized by the council.

If K.K. Sarpong’s supporters are the real royals of the Offisoman, then they ought to pause and consider the advancement of Offinsoman instead of continuing to support his unethical behavior under the influence of the past Queen Mother, Nana Ama Serwaa Nyarko.

Additionally, the Offinso Traditional Council voiced their displeasure with the local security personnel regarding the ongoing problems and their callous observation of the situation.

They are therefore pleading with Otumfuor Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, “The King and the Owner of the Asante Kingdom,” to look into the situation as it stands and assist in finding a long-term solution to the current issue rather than focusing on the misbehavior that the young people displayed.

To maintain peace in the Offinso Traditional Area of the Asanteman, his royal majesty had made his own decisions that no one can reverse or challenge.
