Ejisu By-Election: Nine NPP candidates file to participate in the parliamentary primaries

 

NPP parliamentary primaries, nine people have successfully filed their nomination forms to compete in the forthcoming Ejisu Constituency By-Election in the Ashanti Region.

These persons are members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP). The party after receiving the nomination forms from the various contestants, further scheduled 6th April 2024, as the date for vetting and balloting.

The list of aspirants includes Dr. Evans Dua, Lawyer Portia Acheampong, Hon. Klinsman Karikari Mensah, Abena Pokuaaa Amoah-Boaitey, Lawyer Kwasi Nyantakyi, Hon. Helena Mensah, Lawyer Kwabena Boateng, Aaron Prince Duah, Yaw Aboagye,

At noon on Wednesday, two additional individuals, Aaron Prince Duah and Maame Yaa Aboagye.

Speaking to the media following the forms’ submission on Thursday, April 4, 2024, Dr. Evans Duah reviewed his long history of community service, which has distinguished him from other contenders who might be interested in taking Lawyer John Kumah’s place.

Dr. Duah feels that since the outgoing leader achieved so much, he must be replaced by someone competent, unselfish, cohesive, and dedicated to continuing the excellent work he initiated.

He says that for Ejisu to be successful and continue from where the late MP left off to the promised land, he must be taken into consideration without a doubt.

He is therefore pleading with the delegates to consider his candidacy and give him a significant majority of the votes so that he can represent them in Parliament.

The outcome for the 9 contenders vying to represent the Ejisu constituency in parliament is currently in the hands of 100,68 delegates from the constituency.
