National Service Scheme Arrears: Scheme pays January 2024 allowance

The National Service Scheme (NSS) has confirmed payment of the January 2024 allowance to all personnel. This payment covers arrears owed to NSS personnel for the month of January 2024. Personnel are advised to check their accounts for confirmation of receipt.

The Director of Corporate Affairs, Armstrong Essah, signed a statement on behalf of the scheme dated April 5, stating that all qualified personnel will get their allowances through E-Zwich at their local banks across the country.

The statement further assured all National Service Scheme personnel that the allowance for February and March 2024 has been processed and will be paid as soon as possible.

The Scheme expressed gratitude to the personnel for their continued patience due to delays in getting their arrears paid. So far, the Scheme has only paid for three months out of the five months outstanding.
