Residents of Asonomaso cry for Toilet Facility

The people of Asonomaso community in the Kwabre East Municipal of the Ashanti Region, have expressed worries over lack of Toilet Facility in the area, thus calling on authorities to come to their aid, so as to alleviate the suffering of the people.

 

Some of the residents who expressed their concerns revealed that they now resort to defecating by the roadside, Refuse-Site and in bushes. to an existing dilapidated one which has seen no renovation for several years”, they stressed.

 

The Assembly member for the area, Hon. Isaac Badu said, the residents of Asonomaso resort to open defecation due to death-trap toilet facility

 

The absence of toilet facility in this community has worsen the situation in the area despite persistent letters and appeals to the Assembly on the urgent need to provide toilet in our community, nothing has been done to alleviate our plight in the area. the community has decided to raise funds to construct a new toilet facility to avoid disease outbreak.
