Coronavirus patient in Ghana runs away from quarantine

A Coronavirus patient in Tema, Ghana is reported to have rejected quarantine from the hospital and rather opted to go home.

The patient after being tested was supposed to be isolated by the hospital but reports reaching My News Ghana says that the hospital does not have the requisite facilities and resources to quarantine the patient so he decided to go home to self-quarantine.

Many Ghanaians have raised concerns over the readiness of the Ghana Health Service to battle the disease.

Ghana’s confirmed cases of Coronavirus rose to seven (7) yesterday when a 35-year-old Ghanaian returned into the country from France with the disease.
