A/R: Pastor on the run for his life over land and chieftaincy dispute

Apostle Rexford Charles Amoah, a senior pastor and general overseer of the Christ Ambassadors Baptist ministries at Kumasi has gone hideout to save his life as a result of the unquenched land and chieftaincy dispute at Barekese in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of Ashanti.

The pastor who also doubles as the Director of Ambassadors Bible College has trained hundreds of pastors but has not been seen for some time now and his absences have caused fear and panic to his family and friends.

Apostle Rexford Charles Amoah is said to be Royal of the Barekese stool in the Atwima Nwabiagya north district of Ashanti Region, a biological senior brother of Nana Amoapim Brenya I, the chief of Barekese.

Apostle Rexford Charles Amoah who is also the Administrator of the Barekese palace, it will be recalled on 21st August 2022, A section of the Barekese youth held a barbaric demonstration against the chief and his elders who were celebrating the Akwasidae festival inside the palace at Barekese, the agitated youth kept his stool elders and family members hostage in the palace for hours which took the Ashanti regional police command to bring re-enforcement to save the life the chief.

His elders and members from the treacherous agitated youth, ever since the incident happened, the pastor who is said to be the right-hand man of the chief has been receiving life-threatening calls from the agitated youth.

It is reported that some strange armed besieged his residence and met his absence, ever since the renowned pastor went hideout, it was alleged that he was hiding in Accra for his life but when contacted his brother he said he couldn’t disclose the current location of the man of God for security reasons.

All efforts to reach him on his phone proved futile as all his phones were off.

Even though, the King of Ashanti, His Royal Majesty Otumfuor Osei II sat on the matter in October 2022 and ruled in favor of the chief and his family the life-threatening messages and calls have never seized on the man of God.
