Alan Endorses Mahama’s 24-hour Economy Stimulus Policy

The Independent presidential candidate of the Movement for Change, Mr Alan Kyerematen has slammed vice president Dr Bawumia for kicking against the proposed 24-hour economy policy by former President John Dramani Mahama.

Addressing supporters to climax a health walk held in Kumasi on Saturday, December 2, Mr Kyerematen noted that critics of the 24-hour economy policy should rather channel their energies to ask pertinent questions on how the policy should be implemented in a very suitable environment to create more jobs for teeming unemployed Youth instead of seeking to shoot it down.

“Fomer President John Dramani Mahama came to say that he will implement a 24-hour economy when he comes. He is not wrong if he says that. Anyone who says the 24-hour economy is bad doesn’t understand politics. All those who are kicking against the 24-hour economy give credence that they themselves don’t understand the policy.

The 24-hour economy proposal by Former President John Mahama has been met with huge criticisms from the members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP ) on various grounds.
