Angry mob burn police station for hiding criminals

A group of agitated mob in Mzimba District of Malawi has set on fire a police station and a lodge over  allegations that the police was hiding local criminals at the lodge.

Eyewitnesses say that, they were made known of the actions of the Police through one of the criminals who confessed in church.

The angry citizens marched to the Police Station and lodge and burnt down the two buildings.

The Malawi police has not said anything yet about the incidence.
