Asante royal regalia and objects looted by the British troops during the Sagrenti War have returned home and will go no more, A Renowned Prophet Man of God

The general overseer of the Grace Fire Worship Center in Afrancho-Hemang in the Ashanti region, Prophet Roland Kofi Oppong, a renowned prophet man of God has prophesied that following the 150th anniversary of the Sagrenti War, and the return of Asante royal regalia and artifacts that were looted by British troops from the Asante Kingdom will never travel back. In 2023, he claims to have had a vision from God regarding the Asante Kingdom. In the vision, he saw a large star traveling around the world and eventually landing in the center of Asante’s kingdom. God later revealed to him that this marked the return of the Asante Kingdom’s glory.

Following the return of the royal gold crown, the stool, and the black gold necklace that were looted by the British army in 1874 and discovered in the Fowler Museum in California, the Asante kingdom will undergo a significant transformation.

The first seven treasures from the University of California, Los Angeles’ Fowler Museum, which is already in Kumasi, have come to fulfill the prophecy made by the renowned Prophet Man of God regarding the return of Asante royal regalia and artifacts that were looted by British troops in 1874. The items were presented to the Asanteman at the grand durbar of chiefs at the Manhyia Palace on Thursday during the 150th anniversary of the Sagrenti War and 25th Jubilee celebration of His Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II, “Asantehene”

He stated that, as previously announced by the traditional leaders, the second shipment will arrive safely in April from the British Museum and the Victoria & Albert (V&A) Museum, two of the country’s top cultural institutions.

The only purpose of the memorandum of understanding that Asanteman and foreign nations signed was to conceal their heinous acts of looting.

“The collections, which include items such as the 300-year-old sacred Mponponsuo state sword and other silver and gold ornaments, are governed by two different agreements, but these agreements will cease to exist once all the collections are received”, Prophet Roland Kofi Oppong stated.
