Ayigbe Town residents get support from NDC parliamentary candidate and NADMO after fire outbreak.

Hon. Ebi Bright, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate, joined forces with the Tema National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) to extend crucial support to the residents of Ayigbe Town following a devastating fire outbreak on Sunday at approximately 6:45 pm.

Situated in the heart of the Tema Industrial Heavy Industrial Area, Ayigbe Town houses essential workers, often referred to as squatters, who contribute significantly to the operations of companies in the industrial zone. The fire, though mercifully claiming no lives, wreaked havoc on their properties, leaving 60 individuals in dire need of assistance.

Hon. Ebi Bright and the Tema NADMO team promptly responded to the emergency, visiting Ayigbe Town to assess the extent of the damage and provide immediate aid to those affected. The parliamentary candidate expressed solidarity with the impacted families, recognizing the pivotal role these individuals play in the functioning of companies within the Tema industrial area.

“Our industrious community members in Ayigbe Town are integral to the operations of the Tema industrial sector. In this challenging time, we stand united to offer support and assistance to those affected by the recent fire,” affirmed Hon. Ebi Bright during the joint visit.

Tema NADMO officials, by reiterated their commitment to coordinating relief efforts, emphasizing the urgent need for contributions to aid the affected workers in rebuilding their lives.

Hon. Ebi Bright and Tema NADMO appeal to the public, local businesses, and charitable organizations to extend their support to the residents of Ayigbe Town. Contributions in the form of shelter, clothing, and other essential items will go a long way in assisting the 60 affected individuals who play a vital role in sustaining the Tema industrial area.
