Members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Bantama Constituency of Ashanti break down bottles of Shampain in jubilation to indicate how happy they became when Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia emerged as the winner in the just-ended NPP flagbearership raise.
They contend that Dr. Bawumia’s victory is not surprising and instead is something they anticipated from the NPP in the run-up to the 2024 election.
Speaking to the media today, Morris Kissa John, the NDC’s youth organizer for the Bantama Constituency, stated that the party would need a television set to display to Ghanaians the accomplishments of the Nanan Addo, Bawumia-led administration as their campaign message when Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia leads the NPP in the general election of 2024.
Furthermore, Ben Awareja, the vice chairman of the NDC for the Bantama Constituency, exhorts the youth to keep up their hard work for their party, which is led by H. E. John Dramani Mahama, to defeat Dr. Mahamadu Bawuma in the upcoming general election on December 7, 2024. He believes this election will be won by an incredible margin.
