Bawumia’s Camp attempted to bribe me to become his Vice, but rejected the offer – Ken Agyapong alleges

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential aspirant ,Mr Kennedy Agyapong has alleged that the Campaign Team of the Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia made the move to grease his palms to accept an offer to become his running mate but rejected the offer.

He stressed that Dr Bawumia is forcefully engaging in a foul political play that has the tendency of destroying the party.

Mr Agyapong made these wild allegations at the Jubilee Park in Kumasi in the Ashanti region after a march organized by his ardent supporters dubbed “A SHOWDOWN WALK”

Mr Agyapong who is seeking to lead the NPP in the upcoming 2024 polls reiterated that ,the Vice President Dr Bawumia and his team were intimidating party members who were not his supporters which is against the principles of the party.

The “Showdown Walk” Saw indegens in the Ashanti region thronged the principal streets of Kumasi to march to show their unflinching support for the NPP Presidential hopeful, Mr Kennedy Agyapong.

Majority of people who joined the walk expressed worry over the current economic challenges in the country under the watch of Akufo Addo / Bawumia led NPP government as their main reason for throwing their weight behind the Assin Central Member of Parliament.

Majority of NPP sympathisers also disclosed that they have the firm believe Kennedy Agyapong is the only candidate in the presidential race who can help the party to break the 8year jinx come 2024.
