Chaos Erupts as Police Raid Late Businessman’s Office Amid Family Dispute

Chaos Erupts as Police Raid Late Businessman’s Office Amid Family Dispute.

In a shocking turn of events, chaos engulfed the offices of the late businessman mogul, Dr. Baah Acheamfuor, as police personnel descended on the premises in Kumasi.

Reports indicate that officers, armed with guns, stormed the office on Wednesday morning, causing panic among workers and leading to a tumultuous scene.

Eyewitnesses recount a harrowing ordeal as police officers, accompanied by Madam Sarah Acheamfuor, the wife of the late Dr. Acheamfuor, ordered all workers to vacate the premises without explanation.

Mr. Collins Anokye, the general manager of the Acheamfour Group of Companies, confirmed the incident, alleging that Madam Sarah Acheamfuor orchestrated the raid.

“I can say it that the wife of my late uncle, Madam Sarah Acheamfuor, ordered the officers to chase the workers out.

“You’ll get beatings of your life if you fail to go out,” stated Mr. Anokye.

The sudden closure of the offices has left nearly 48 workers in limbo, with concerns over unpaid wages looming large.

Mr. Anokye expressed fears over the financial implications, emphasizing the need for government and the Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, to intervene and address the harassment faced by the workers.

Meanwhile, tensions within the Acheamfuor family have escalated, with conflicting claims over ownership and management of the late businessman’s assets.

The incident has cast a shadow over the legacy of Dr. Baah Acheamfuor, whose funeral is slated for the 10th of February, 2024.

As preparations for his final rites are underway, the turmoil surrounding his estate threatens to overshadow the mourning process.

Questions linger over the legality of Madam Sarah Acheamfuor’s actions and the rightful ownership of the contested assets.

Amidst the legal complexities, the welfare of the workers remains a pressing concern, with calls for swift resolution and justice echoing across the community.

As the saga unfolds, all eyes turn to the authorities to uphold the rule of law and restore order in the aftermath of this troubling episode.

In the heart of Kumasi, where the legacy of a revered businessman hangs in the balance, the pursuit of truth and justice remains paramount in the quest for closure and reconciliation.
