The Central Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon.Gabriel Nii Kommey Adams, has expressed optimism about the party’s chances of winning the Gomoa Central Constituency seat in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
During a visit to the constituency at the Pentecost Church in Aboso, Mr. Adams met with current and former constituency executives, ward coordinators, past and present assembly members, and stakeholders.
He encouraged them to remain committed to the party, emphasizing that the NDC is poised to rescue Ghana from the current government.
He extended greetings from the national and regional executives of the party, stressing that the Gomoa Central seat is crucial to President Mahama’s ambitions. He cited a survey conducted by the party, which suggests that the majority of floating voters are leaning towards the NDC.
The regional secretary urged party members to cast their votes before 1 pm and to be prepared for any eventuality, including a potential power outage during the collation of results.
He also advised against monopolizing the party system, instead emphasizing the need to subject to the rank and file of the party organization structure.
Mr Adams commended the efforts of past and present executives, while encouraging them to strengthen the party’s youth wing, women’s wing, and organizational system. He highlighted the importance of harvesting the youth and protecting the ballots cast by every voter.
The NDC regional secretary applauded the only Zongo Caucus Woman in the region and appealed to all party members to ensure a resounding victory for the NDC in both the parliamentary and presidential elections.
Adams concluded by assuring the constituency that they would not be left out of any resources allocated to the region.
