Shooting at Mankessim, police officer shot, 2 dead,5 in a critical condition

Seven people, including a police officer, have been shot at Mankessim.

Two of the seven shot have been reported dead with the remaining five on admission.

Confirming the shooting, Public Relations Officer of the Central Regional Police Command, Irene Oppong, said the Central Regional Police Command has made some arrests in connection with the shooting.

He said information gathered on the shooting will be communicated to the public in due time.
