Press Release..

FLOATING VOTERS ASSOCIATION CONDEMNS VANDALISM IN GHANA’S PARLIAMENT.

The Floating Voters Association of Ghana will like to affirm our displeasure with vandalised public properties within the space of our Parliament house.

We assiduously condemn the recent acts of violence that occurred in the legislative premises of the country.

This statement comes in the wake of rising concerns about the state of political discourse and behavior among elected officials.

During a recent parliamentary session, tensions between opposing parties escalated, resulting in the destruction of property within the legislative vetting Committee in the presence of some eminent chiefs.

This incident has sparked outrage among citizens and civil society groups, prompting widespread calls for accountability and reform.

As voters we strongly condemned the acts of vandalism, labeling them as detrimental to the democratic process and a poor reflection of the nation’s political maturity.

The floating voters association will like to urge relevant authorities to hold those responsible accountable, ensuring that such behavior is not tolerated within Ghana’s political landscape.

Suspending the culprits by the speaker of Parliament is not enough, they must be brought to the confrontation of the laws of the country.

God bless our homeland Ghana.

SIGNED

Mr Donald Dzamesi

(Communication officer)

Madam Hajia Hakiba

(Director of operations)
