Another sad death of a Gospel musician, Kaysi Owusu, has been reported dead. The singer is said to have died yesterday 1st August 2020.
According to what Celebrities Buzz has gathered, Kaysi Owusu has passed on after a week of being admitted to the hospital. It is alleged that it was a heart condition that caused his demise.
The bubbly Kaysi updated his Facebook timeline in the early hours of the morning as he usually did, sharing and pushing his friends in the gospel fraternity.
He responded to chats, comments, and posts on his timeline during those hours.
So it is a big shock when the news of his passing on reached loved ones, family, friends, and fans.
A fellow Gospel musician identified as Edmund Folley took to Facebook to criticize Ghanaians for their hypocritical attitude in relation to how we show ‘fake love’ to the dead. Edmund Folley argued that when Kaysi Owusu was alive, a lot of people didn’t subscribe to his Youtube channel to support his talent. But now that he’s dead, people are subscribing to his channel.

“It’s Sad how in Ghana and Africa as a whole, we generally do not support and appreciate the Living till they pass on and are dead. I never knew Kaysi Owusu Sekyere personally, but just after he passed on last night, his YouTube channel is hitting almost 1000subscribers in less than 24 hours. Why do we keep doing this to ourselves???? Could we not have supported Kaysi Owusu Sekyere while he yet was alive??? Did we have to wait till He passed on before we showed him how much love we had for him?? Of what use is all the YouTube Views, Shares and Subscriptions to him now that He has passed on to Glory…???”
