Ghana’s COVID-19 cases jump to 378

Ghana’s COVID-19 cases have risen to 378.

This was disclosed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in a televised address to the nation on Thursday, 9 April 2020.

Six persons have lost their lives, two are in critical condition while four have fully recovered.

To prevent further spread, the government has extended the partial lockdown in Accra, Tema, Kasoa and Kumasi by one additional week.

The President advised Ghanaians to adhere to the protocols by observing social distancing even as Christians celebrate the Easter festival.
