I can’t stop showing my skin, says Efia Odo

The pretty, outspoken actress thinks that Ghanaians should stop wasting their time telling her how to dress and let her live her life.

Those who thought that arguing with Efia Odo would make her stop showing too much skin may have to wait a while, because she is not ready to listen just yet.

The pretty, outspoken actress thinks that Ghanaians should stop wasting their time telling her how to dress and let her live her life.

“I’ve been dressing this way for years, and nothing can stop me from continuing. “Everyone has been mean to me, but this is who I am,” she told Graphic Showbiz in an interview.

To make her point, the former US-based nurse said, “I think Ghanaians are just hypocrites. They will say bad things about you, but they will still follow your social media pages and like everything you post. If I had paid attention to everything that was said about me, I wouldn’t be who I am today.”

She goes on to say that people should also talk about the good things about her in addition to the bad things.

“I do a lot of volunteer work, and I thought people would talk about it, but they don’t. People don’t say anything when I wear my African clothes and cover up well. All they know how to do is insult me for showing skin, which doesn’t bother me much,” she said.

When asked if she had a man in her life, if he could convince her to change how she dressed, Efia Odo, whose real name is Andrea Owusu, said that she would not live her life to please a man and that whoever fell in love with her would have to accept her as she was.

“Any man who says he loves me will have to accept me as I am, because I won’t change to make him happy. I want to be a happy girl and be able to make my own choices in life. “I don’t want anyone to stress me out,” she said.

Efia Odo has said many times that she wouldn’t go back to Ghana after moving to the US. However, she said, “Ghana is my home,” and no one could scare her away.

“Yes, I have said I wouldn’t go back to Ghana after moving to the US, but GH is my home and I won’t let anyone make me feel bad about it. She said, “I can come here whenever I want and do what makes me happy.”

Efia Odo is a Ghanaian actress who has been in movies like “Heels and Sneakers.” She also worked as a TV host for Kwese TV.
