In Cooperation To Advance Agriculture Between NSS And The Jospong Group Of Companies

The Jospong Group of Companies and the Ghana National Service Scheme are working together in an amazing way to progress agriculture in Ghana.

Dr. Joseph Agyapong, the founder and executive chairman of the Jospong Group of companies, expressed with great enthusiasm his company’s desire to collaborate with the National Service Scheme (NSS) to bolster the latter’s agricultural efforts during a recent meeting with the NSS’s sixteen regional directors and chief executive, Hon. Osei Assibey, at the Mensvic Hotel on October 24, 2023.

The uniqueness of this collaboration is more than just that, Dr. Agyapong has grand plans to supply the Kumawu Agricultural Project of the National Service Scheme with vital farming equipment, such as rice planters and combine harvesters.

Additionally, his company is prepared to support the travel of specific national service members assigned to the agricultural sector so they can experience cutting-edge farming techniques in Thailand and Japan.

In his remarks, Hon. Osei Assibey assured the Jospong Group that the NSS is the perfect partner for this agricultural project.

He said, “I am confident that this endeavor will yield significant benefits for our national service personnel engaged in the agricultural sector and it aligns seamlessly with NSS’s mission to deploy graduates for meaningful employment.”

Ghana’s agricultural future is more promising than ever, and I am incredibly honored to be a part of this revolutionary endeavor. He continued, “Together, we can significantly alter the agricultural landscape of our country.”
