Just In: Lucky Mensah jailed 6 months for theft

A thirty-year-old man identified as Lucky Mensah has been served a 6-month jail term for breaking into a shop and stealing groceries at Oyarifa near Adenta.

The Adenta District Magistrate Court served him the jail term after he pleaded guilty to all charges leveled against him.

Speaking to the media the police said that Lucky Mensah was traced and arrested by the Abokobi Police when a mobile phone he stile in June was sold to a third party.

Upon his arrest, he had six smartphones and other groceries in his possession which are believed to have been stolen from the grocery shop.
