There has been a landslide on the Kasoa-Accra stretch of the highway around the toll booth.

This was as a result of the downpour which started on Monday evening till Tuesday morning.

The situation has caused heavy vehicular traffic on the Kasoa-Accra highways as vehicles could not move to their various destinations.

The Assembly member for Tuba Electoral Area, Nartey Dawod Kwetsu in an interview with 3FM’s Sunrise hosted by Alfred Ocansey on Tuesday said the area needs urgent attention to resolve the issue.

“We need NADMO to come in otherwise it will be a big blow to us and you know the area is busy since cars are coming from Cape Coast, Takoradi, among others”.
