Sekou Nkrumah, son of Ghana’s first President Kwame Nkrumah, has endorsed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as the better option to address the country’s challenges. He believes the NDC has learned from its past mistakes and is now better positioned to lead the country.
“I think the NDC is currently a better option than the NPP. They have learned from their past mistakes and are now better positioned to address the challenges facing the country,” Sekou Nkrumah said on a local radio station.
He criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for its economic management, stating: “The NPP government has failed to address the economic challenges facing the country. They have only succeeded in increasing the debt stock and creating a culture of corruption.”
Sekou Nkrumah also expressed his support for the NDC’s presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, saying: “I think John Mahama is a better option than Akufo-Addo. He has the experience and the vision to address the country’s challenges.”
