Somalia plane crash: Passenger plane flips over at Mogadishu airport [VIDEO]

On Monday, July 18, the Jubba Airways plane crashed and rolled over on the runway of the Mogadishu airport before taking fire.

The dramatic video shows the plane upside-down on the edge of the runway, burning fiercely, spewing dense smoke.

When the incident happened, the aircraft was traveling domestically from Baidoa to the Somalian capital.

To immediately put out the fires in the middle of the debris, firefighters stepped in. All 30 passengers and the crew, according to local authorities, were saved.

The accident’s origin is still unknown. The aircraft, according to the company, was a turboprop Fokker-50.
