The 2023 Statsbank Hackathon was won by University of Cape Coast (UCC).

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) emerged the winner in the 2023 Statsbank Hackathon, after beating the University of Ghana(UG), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), University for Development Studies (UDS) and the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) in the final last Thursday.

In a thrilling display of knowledge and skill, Team Badwenba,from UCC, developed a website using data from The Statsbank and other data sources for policy makers to easily identify districts with insufficient health and education facilities and highlights infrastructure needs that were most pressing.

Bravo to Team Badwenba for putting up a spirited performance to secure a crucial victory, which has become the talking point in Ghana.
