The Left Breast Is Bigger Than the Right Breast in Women for These 3 Reasons

People often claim that one of their breasts is significantly larger than the other. Accroding to WebMD website, many women, and some overweight or obese men, have slightly larger left breasts than right ones. It’s possible that over 60% of the global population is affected by this, making it a common occurrence.

Healthline states that breast asymmetry describes this condition. It occurs when one breast (the left) is much larger than the other (the right) in terms of length, volume, function, or shape.

This article will discuss some of the many plausible medical explanations for why this occurs. Several potential explanations are listed below as stated in an article published on WebMD website:

1.Terrible Event Occurred.

A person’s breasts may become asymmetrical if they are exposed to a series of upsetting stories. This has been proven by several scientific experiments and studies. Rape, kidnapping, human trafficking, attempted murder, and similar traumatic events are all possible causes of this condition.

2. Genetics factor

A person’s breast type can be heavily influenced by their genes and family history. It’s obvious that if a woman or grandma has lopsided breasts, she can get implants to even them out.

3. Disrupted Hormonal Rhythms

One of the most common causes of breast asymmetry is a disruption or imbalance in the body’s hormone system. The size and shape of one breast may change if a woman’s estrogen levels are suddenly and drastically elevated.
