Social Chart, which ranks the most talked-about personalities in Africa and also Big Brother housemates week in and week out, through and for the records on social media buzz and Google Analytics, has sprung up a few surprises this week.
For this last week, ranging from August 26 to September 1, the latest rankings send an unexpected rise for Victoria Onyenwere, alias Victoria in Biggie’s house. Regardless of being tagged slow and boring housemate, Victoria clinched the 3rd position on the list, solidifying her place as one of the most impressive personalities of the week.
Even though Victoria fell from last week’s position of 2nd, the fact that she remains in the top three demonstrates the continued interest and building influence among watchers. The red triangle on the chart represents this slip, but the strong presence within the list is indicative.
The other housemate and fans’ favourite, Anita Uka, took the 4th position to keep going up in the house. Kassia Yuoyo Sule finally got into the top five position, taking the 5th spot on the chart. This is, however, a big plus for Kassia as she gains momentum among viewers.
The rest of the top 10 included Nelly in 6th place, Topher in 7th, Shaun in 8th, and Kellyrae rounded out the top 10. While Victoria was ahead of the pack, Anita and Kassia have held on quite steadily, and so far, they are also among the highlighted runners as the competition gets tough.
As the housemates keep up with the game, the Social Chart had been an important barometer to date of who’s capturing the public’s interests, and this week, Victoria, Anita, and Kassia are most definitely leading the charge.
