VIDEO: Fire burns down Dadiesoaba Nursing and Midwifery Training School

Fire has burnt down the Dadiesoaba Nursing and Midwifery Training School in the Asutifi South District of the Ahafo Region, MyNewsGh.com reports.

The cause of the fire is not immediately known but sources revealed that the fire started at about 3pm on Sunday, September 4, 2022. Shockingly, fire service personnel responded to the emergency at about 11 pm when three officials appeared with a pickup vehicle.

As a result of the delay in their response, tutors and residents of the area struggled to bring the inferno under control.

Principal Madam Martelina Teni Kwose revealed that no one has been injured but properties estimated at hundreds of thousands of cedis have been destroyed.

She disclosed that an alternative accommodation has been made for the affected students to continue with their studies.
