Working with Asiedu Nketiah as chairman of the NDC will be easier – Coalition

We the Coalition of National Youth Organizers are following the run-up to elect the national leadership of the NDC with keen interest.

This interest is borne out of the fact that the Coalition of National Youth Organizers, the Nkrumaist political parties and the NDC have always fought side by side for the relevance of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah as far as the history of our independence and his achievements are concerned.

One person we have observed as a loud voice and an ally in fighting the attempt to erase Dr Kwame Nkrumah from our history is the General Secretary of the NDC who is now seeking the position of the National Chairman of the NDC, Mr John Asiedu Nketiah.

He has been relentless in quoting facts, referencing history in his unabated defence of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah.

As young politicians, we have also witnessed the courage, wisdom, experience, strategy and passion that Mr Asiedu Nketiah has served his party with.

We can not also forget the deep knowledge of Mr Asiedu Nketiah when it comes to good electoral processes, which he has exhibited at the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) over the years, and has shaped most of our electoral reforms.

This among many other qualities has informed our collective decision as National Youth Organizers from the PNC, APC, GCPP, CPP and the PPP that working with Mr Asiedu Nketiah for our common interest will be much easier, than any of the contestants who are competing for the NDC National chairmanship position.

Signed,

Osei Kofi Acquah
National Youth Organizer CPP
General Secretary Coalition of National Youth Organizers
