In remarks to the media, Dr. Samuel Amagashie, CEO of the Dr. Amagashie Herbal Centre, said the organization has set aside January 1st to fulfill its corporate social responsibility obligations by giving back to the community and making a difference in the lives of our widows and vulnerable children.

The items he donated to them include Rice, Cooking Oil, and other stuff.

He made a plea to the government to direct the importation of foreign medications to help practitioners of traditional medicine gain access to the global pharmaceutical market.

“It will create more jobs locally and boost GDP growth when traditional medicine gains access to the global pharmaceutical market,” He said.

According to him, Ghana is blessed with a lot of resources and potential that can its economy stronger without going in for any IMF bailout support programs.

He quoted the first president of the Republic of Ghana Dr Kwame Nkrumah once said black man is capable of managing his affairs.

The then president knows the resources and potentials Africa has and is poised that African leaders must invest in traditional medicines for just a year and see the outcomes and benefits.

In the meantime, a few of the recipients of the goods express their gratitude to him and wish for a long life and wealth so that Dr. Amagashie Herbal Center can do more for the less privileged.
