Don’t Learn from NPP, Embrace Continuity for Development- Wenchiki Paramount Chief Counsels John Mahama

The Wenchiki Paramount Chief, Alhaji Abubakar Awufour has advised John Mahama, the former President of Ghana, to prioritize continuity for development, rather than emulating the approach of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). This counsel comes after Mahama’s was successfully sworn in on the 7th January.

The Paramount Chief’s statement suggests that Mahama should focus on building upon existing foundations, rather than abandoning the projects started by the NPP. This advice is likely rooted in the Chief’s concern for the well-being and development of his community, as well as the broader Ghanaian society.

Mahama, has highlighted the revamp the economy after perceived failure of the NPP. He emphasized the need for a new approach, one that prioritizes accountability, transparency, and the welfare of the Ghanaian people.

The Paramount Chief’s counsel can be seen as a call to action, urging Mahama to seize the opportunity to implement meaningful change and drive development in Ghana. By embracing continuity and building upon existing foundations, Mahama can create a brighter future for the Ghanaian people.

In essence, the Paramount Chief’s advice is a reminder that true development and progress require a thoughtful and intentional approach, one that prioritizes the needs and well-being of the community.
