The Central Regional Minister, Hon. Ekow Payin Okyere Eduamoah, remains steadfast in his quest to foster a more inclusive and participatory governance framework, bridging the gap between traditional authorities and local government entities.
On December 11, 2025, the Hon. Regional Minister embarked on a working visit to three paramountcies, culminating in a productive engagement with staff of the Assembly.
During his tour, he held fruitful audiences with the Twifo Hemang Traditional Council, Twifo Mampong Traditional Council, and Twifo Morkwa Traditional Council, engaging in constructive dialogue with their revered paramount leaders.
Hon. Ekow Payin Okyere Eduamoah underscored President John Dramani Mahama’s tireless efforts to recalibrate and rejuvenate Ghana’s development trajectory, stressing the imperative of synergistic collaboration between traditional leaders and Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs).
He urged the traditional authorities to forge robust partnerships with the assemblies, ensuring the efficacious utilization of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) to drive transformative development across districts and municipalities.
The Regional Minister was accompanied on this tour by a high-powered delegation comprising Hon. Chief Mike Dery, Presidential Staffer and Political Coordinator; Mr. Sampson Kwarteng, Chief Director of the Regional Coordinating Council; Hon. Kwesi Dawood, Regional NADMO Director; Hon. Janet Quansah, Regional School Feeding Programme Coordinator; Madam Eunice Essel, Assistant Director of the RCC; and a team of media and security personnel.
