A 35-year-old man shoots himself dead at Offinso-Abofour

 

According to reports, a 35-year-old man in the Ashanti Region at OOffinso–Abofourshot himself to death.

On Monday, November 6, 2023, the deceased, identified as Peter Boakye Yiadom, also known as KK.T. a beer bar operator, reportedly shot himself inside his drinking spot.

It is reported that the deceased, a family man with four children, committed suicide one week before his mother’s last funeral ceremony

According to residents in the area, they believe the man killed himself as a result of his mother’s passing away, Dominic Duk narrated to Newsmen.

“He has been complaining about the demise of his mother with threats that he will kill himself, and join the deceased mother”

“A day before the unfortunate incident, those around him say they heard him talking about killing himself because he can’t imagine a life without his mother”

After hearing gunfire in a small room within the establishment, some nearby residents claimed to have raced there only to find the door locked.

They notified the nearby police, who forcibly broke into the room and found the man lying in a pool of blood with a pistol next to him.

He was taken to a nearby hospital in a hurry, but upon arrival, they pronounced him dead.

The body has since been kept at a morgue for further investigations.
