Date for Picketing at John Mahama’s Office by #fixingthecountryMovement# postponed

# Fixing the Country Movement has made a public announcement that the date 16th November 2023 which is slated for demonstration and picketing at the office of former president John Dramani Mahama has been changed to 23rd November, 2023

In a Press statement issued by the Covener, Ernest Owusu Bempah indicated that the rationale behind the alteration of date is due to the final funeral rite of the former first lady the late Mrs. Theresa Aba Kufour, which coincidentally falls on the same day 16th of November, 2023.

“The movement would want to join the nation and commiserate with the entire Kufour family on that day.

“However, a new date has been arranged and agreed with the Ghana Police Service, which is Thursday 23rd of November, 2023,” the statement disclosed.

“The Movement would also use this medium to reassure our teeming supporters and the general public to remain poised for the demonstration.” part of the statement reads.
