ews reaching MyNewsGh.com indicate that a former President of the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA, Mr. Edward Ameyibor is dead.
Sources reveal that he died on Monday May 13, 2019 in Accra after battling a short illness.
The veteran journalist, worked with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) and was the General Manager of the Tamale-based Diamond Fm, the first private radio station in the Northern Region.
He is credited for nurturing several young talents in the inky fraternity and also served as General Secretary of the National Pensioners Association (NPA).
