Gov’t Enhances Global Healthcare Presence with Deployment of 121 Health Workers to Antigua- Chief Of Staff

Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah, has announced the successful deployment of 121 health workers to Antigua under the Labour Exchange Programme.

He stated that this serves as a testament to Ghana’s robust bilateral cooperation in healthcare, addressing nursing shortages abroad while enriching the skills and professionalism of its dedicated health workers.

“These industrious nurses are embarking on a journey to share their expertise, gain international exposure, and represent Ghana with pride,” he said.

Chief of Staff Julius Debrah wished them a safe journey, bold service, and excellence in their endeavors, as they pave the way for future collaborations and opportunities.

The Labour Exchange Programme is part of the government’s broader agenda to create employment opportunities, deepen international partnerships, and strengthen Ghana’s presence in the global health workforce. With this deployment, Ghana is positioned to make a meaningful impact on global healthcare delivery.
