Gov’t Enhances Global Healthcare Presence with Deployment of 121 Health Workers to Antigua- Chief Of Staff

Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah, has announced the successful deployment of 121 health workers to Antigua under the Labour Exchange Programme.

He stated that this serves as a testament to Ghana’s robust bilateral cooperation in healthcare, addressing nursing shortages abroad while enriching the skills and professionalism of its dedicated health workers.

“These industrious nurses are embarking on a journey to share their expertise, gain international exposure, and represent Ghana with pride,” he said.

The Labour Exchange Programme is part of the government’s broader agenda to create employment opportunities, deepen international partnerships, and strengthen Ghana’s presence in the global health workforce.
