Islam is Education and Peace not riot — National Islamic Youth President to Zongo Youth.

The president for the Islamic Youth League of Ghana, Alhaji Isahak OB, has advised the youth of Zongo to resist from riot but rather seek for education and peace.

Talking to Evans Kweku Oboafi Junior (HARDROCK), a Journalist in central region, during the 25th National Annual DA” WAH and Fund-Raising convention which was held at Breman Kuntenase in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District of C/R this weekend, Alhaji Isahak expressed his disappointment in some Islamic Youth who have deviated from the aims of the religion and doing what is not expected of them.

“It’s very sad to see a Muslim or Zongo youth involving him/her self in riot”

“I urge them to let it be thing of the past because Islamic religion is for peace and not riot” Alhaji Isahak added.

In an exclusive interview with the National Organizer for the Association, Baba Adam Musah, he also said the association which was established in 1992 is aim at Educating the Ghanaian youth freely nationwide in both secular and Islamic Education.

“The purpose of this great Association is to help educate our youth freely with no cost, to enhance their prosperity” Baba Adam Musah expressed.

The national organizer later advised Muslim youth to abstain from riot but rather concentrate on education to ensure brighter future.
