NDC Poised To Reclaim all 3 Assin Parliamentary Seats- Prof.Richard Kofi Asiedu

The Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Richard Kofi Asiedu, has expressed confidence that the party will reclaim all three Assin Parliamentary Seats in the upcoming December 7 elections.

Prof. Asiedu attributed his optimism to the perceived neglect of the Assin Constituencies by the incumbent Akufo Addo/Dr. Bawumia-led administration, citing a lack of development in the areas.

He assured that the NDC, under John Mahama’s leadership, will prioritize addressing the pressing needs of the constituencies in the next government.

Prof. Asiedu made these remarks at a fundraising dinner hosted by the NDC’s Central Regional Chapter at East Legon’s De Icon Event Center.

Emphasizing the urgency of vigorous campaigning, he urged party members to take the campaign everywhere to possibly make NDC chances visible.

The NDC’s determination to reclaim the Assin seats is significant, especially considering the recent parliamentary by-election in Assin North Constituency, which saw the Electoral Commission conduct a by-election on June 27, 2023, to fill a vacant seat.

With Prof. Asiedu’s rallying call, the NDC is poised to intensify its campaign efforts in the Assin Constituencies, leveraging the perceived gaps in development to win over voters.
