The All People’s Congress (APC) Founder and Flag Bearer, H. E. Dr. Hassan Ayariga has voiced concern about how the Flagstaff House/Jubilee House has lost value while being managed by the current and previous governments, to which Ghanaians have delegated authority to run the country’s affairs.
According to him, the Flagstaff House /Jubilee House has lost its value, and it is no longer a seat or a place to change the Ghanaian future and build economic growth. It has been reduced to just a seat of business for political parties and leaders in power.
He said nowadays, everyone thinks if he/she wants to expand their businesses and opportunities or to be relevant in Ghana, all they have to do is form a movement or just become an independent Presidential candidate, and then they are good to go. This is a result of bad governance, bad leadership, and corruption by previous administrations and the current government that has turned the missing value of the Presidency.
“Ghanaian Presidency has become an empty institution, making promises and upon promises without fulfillment and accountability”, His Excellency Dr. Hassan Ayariga said this while he was delivering his acceptance speech as the Flag Bearer of “ALL PEOPLE’S CONGRESS” (ACP) for the 2024 elections.
However, H. E. Dr. Hassan Ayariga who has accepted to lead APC ahead 2024 general election by overwhelming endorsement at the extraordinary congress held in Kumasi the Ashanti regional capital from all over the 16 regions of the country, sees this move as evidence that the wind of positive change is blowing, and welcome the call of the majority supporters of the great APC.
“It is evident that the wind of positive change is blowing, and I have every reason to leave my comfort zone and respond positively to the call of the majority supporters of the APC”. He stated.
He declared that he would work hard to carry out his responsibilities as the party’s flag bearer, treating everyone fairly and impartially while abiding by the laws of the Republic of Ghana and the party’s constitution.
