Thieves raid Kenyasi Pentecost Church, bolts with equipment worth GHC10,000

Thieves have raided the Church of Pentecost branch at Kenyase in the Ahafo Region and have made away with several musical equipment.

The stolen items including 1 mixer, 2 amplifiers, 1 crossover and 1 equalizer are estimated to cost over GHC10,000.

The unfortunate incident occurred Wednesday night.

The Sound Engineer of the Church, Foster, in an interview with Kasapa News said the hierarchy of the church just last week resolved to ensure security at the church which is located by the roadside is enhanced, only for such unpleasant surprise to be sprung on the congregation.

He said a report of the incident has been filed at the Kenyasi Police Station and investigation has since commenced.
