Empowering Youth, Inspiring Change: International Youth Network for UNSCR 2250 Celebrates Pivotal Moment in Ghana

On the 10th of December 2025, the International Youth Network for UNSCR 2250, in a prestigious partnership with the Jihad Foundation and under the esteemed auspices of the Coalition with NGOs associated with the UN-DGC, Ghana, orchestrated a momentous celebration at the UMB UPSA branch auditorium.

This illustrious gathering brought together an eclectic ensemble of dignitaries, including visionary CEOs and founders of non-governmental organizations, revered diplomats, dedicated UN volunteers, passionate advocates of the Sustainable Development Goals, influential media personalities, philanthropic luminaries, tireless human rights activists, and dynamic young leaders.

Her Excellency, Rev. Dr. Lilian Sally Addo, the distinguished Global President of the International Youth Network for UNSCR 2250, led the delegation with aplomb, while Amb. Chief Jihad made a profound gesture of generosity, donating over 20 sewing machines and hair dryers to support the noble cause. The revered Lady Rev. also took the helm as the event’s moderator, skillfully guiding the proceedings with poise and eloquence.

The distinguished Rev. Dr. Canon Lawrence Tetteh graced the occasion as the keynote speaker and special guest of honor, imparting invaluable insights and inspiring words that resonated deeply with the audience.
