VIDEO: Fancy Gadam Resort To Waakye Business As Covid-19 Buries Music Career

Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall and reggae musical artist, Mujahid Ahmed Bello known by his stage name Fancy Gadam, has finally resorted to food business to survive after the arrival of the unfortunate global (COVID-19) pandemic.

Fancy Gadam in recent times appears to be the hardest hit in the Northern region since most of his revenue came from organizing of staged concerts and performing at the musical show across the country.

Mr. Bello in 2017 won a Ghana Music Awards for Best New Artist and in 2020 was named Best Afrobeat Entertainer the at International Reggae and World Music Awards.

But in a recent viral video the sensational musician lamenting over the impact of the Coronavirus and how it has compelled him to sell ‘Waakye’ ( rice&beans ).
